Delivering personalized tactical defense training, led by instructors with real-world street experience, to equip officers and first responders with proven skills to protect themselves and the communities they serve
Bailey spent five years serving in Cleveland’s Third District, where he experienced firsthand the realities and risks officers face every day. In high-pressure situations, he saw how critical it was for officers to confidently and safely handle encounters, both for their own protection and for the safety of the community.
Determined to elevate his skill set, Bailey has trained in BJJ for the past five years and competes nationally. He committed himself to learning how to operate with composure under pressure and apply techniques that worked in real-world conditions.
Over time, he recognized a gap in traditional defensive tactics instruction. Much of the training was being delivered by individuals who lack experience on the road, disconnected from the realities officers encounter daily. One evening, after reflecting on that need, Bailey said, “A lot of DT training is taught by people who aren’t officers or don’t have experience on the road. We should open our own defensive tactics training here in the Cleveland area.”
That moment sparked the creation of BlueLine Tactics, a training program built on real-world experience, practical application, and a commitment to equipping officers with skills that work when it matters most
